From the central railway station to the Europaallee.
This project involved widening the Europaallee stairway at Zurich's central railway station from 10m to 34m. The stairway now leads travellers quickly and without obstruction from the Sihlquai Passage and the Löwenstrasse/Zurich HB railway station to the Europaplatz, which by the end of the construction period had an area of 6,000m². The improvement consists of steps, escalators and lifts. It also provides direct access to the Europaplatz bicycle station.
