Safety for rail and road.
PORR's task in this project was to protect the Intschi tunnel entrance on the Gotthard-Nationalstrasse from falling rock and landslides. To this end, rock anchors were drilled and steel mesh nets installed. In addition, PORR constructed a massive supporting wall above the southern tunnel entrance to protect the Gotthard railway line.

Extensive safety measures were required on the rock face to protect road and railway from falling rock and landslides.
