The home base of pâté.
In Sibiu, a new production hall was constructed in the second half of 2008 for Scandia, one of Romania’s leading food companies. PORR Construct S.R.L. was assigned the development and construction process for the “Scandia Pâté production hall”.
All in all the plot covers an area of 40,000m² and the building area has an expanse of 17,679m². PORR’s scope of work was to develop the site’s sewer, including sewage treatment, the traffic areas, the water lines and the green areas.
Furthermore, we were also responsible for the construction of the two-storied production hall as well as the office buildings.
Our team finished the work in just six months to the full satisfaction of the customer.
The production hall covers a building area of 17,679m2.

Next to the hall there is enough space for all the trucks coming to and leaving the factory.
