Turnkey new building according to DGNB principles

South of Duisburg railway station, Aurelis 21 Objektgesellschaft Duisburg Central Office GmbH & Co. KG, an office building with a focus on sustainability. 

The PORR Hochbau West GmbH realised all services for this project from a single source: the preparation of the implementation planning, the construction of the excavation pit including shoring work using a temporary soldier pile wall, a bored pile wall as well as the shell and finishing work including the building services and the construction of the outdoor facilities.

Focus on profitability and sustainability

The DGNB uses a holistic assessment system to test and certify buildings for sustainability. The DCO was awarded the DGNB's Gold sustainability certificate. As a member of the DGNB, we supported the client in constructing a resource-efficient and economical building.

Ecological and modern workplaces

The construction project was completed on schedule and our services were accepted by Aurelis and the user in liaison with the owner. The office spaces are predominantly designed as open-plan offices, into which individual meeting rooms and so-called think tanks have been transparently integrated using glass partitions. The building services for the office areas are located horizontally in the cavity floors and in the ceiling boxes of the corridor areas. A performance-efficient ventilation system and heating and cooling ceiling sails are supplied from these. A challenging project that we are realising with passion.

Reliable deadlines: from planning to the turnkey project

The construction project was completed on schedule and our services were accepted by Aurelis and the user in liaison with the owner. 
Business operations commenced in November 2022 and the property was put to its full use.

The office spaces are primarily designed as open-plan offices, with individual meeting rooms and think tanks transparently integrated into them through glass partitions. The building services for the office space are connected horizontally through cavity floors and in the coffered ceilings of the corridors. They are used to provide the power supply for an efficient ventilation system as well as for heating and cooling ceiling sails. A challenging project, which we have embraced with passion.
